Evening and/or Weekend Care Assistants

At Right at Home Mid Sussex, our aim is to make a positive difference to the lives of those we care for, and key to that is having care assistants who are well trained and supported in their role.

Summary

We are seeking dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Mid Sussex covering evenings and / or weekends. Our CareGivers are recruited and trained with a genuine passion for helping people in our local community. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing compassionate and personalized care in their homes. Your contributions will directly support our mission of delivering quality, unhurried care that prioritizes positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate personal care to clients in their homes

  • Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation and medication administration &

  • Maintain accurate records of client care and progress

  • Foster a positive relationship with clients and their families

  • Light housekeeping tasks

  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities

  • Uphold the values and mission of Right at Home Mid Sussex.

Qualifications

  • No experience necessary as full training will be provided

  • Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Full UK driving licence and use of a car for work is essential

  • Our territory is limited to Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and surrounding villages so you will never need to drive too far between calls
